The Indian Captains were #9 Matthew Wallace, #16 Nick Roach, #34 David Lee Haskins, #82 Aaron Anderson. Lenoir City won the coin toss and wanted the foot ball.

The Big Red Indian defense provided a stop, forcing the panthers to punt on their first offensive series. With the ball spotted on the 26 yard line, the quick strike no huddle Indian offense went right to work. Although it took 14 plays, the Indians broke the goal line on #34 David Lee Haskins two yard plunge. With the extra points by #9 Matthew Wallace, the scoreboard reads 8-0 with 2:15 left in the first period.

Mid way through the second quarter the Indian offense is on the move again, the Panthers are looking a little tired. Haskins scores his second touchdown of the game on a 15 yard burst up the middle. At the half, Loudon leads 14-0.

To open the second half, #9 Wallace returns the kick-off 40 yards all the way down to the Panther 47 yard line! With the short field, five plays and 2:03 were all that was needed for #27 Kadrean Brewster to put the Indians ahead by a score on 20-0. The big play on that drive was a 35 yard pass completion from QB “Air” Franklin to Haskins.

The Panthers answered with a 25 yard touchdown by #37 T.J. Cratty.

#39 Devan Grissom got a 20 yard kick-off return, but the remainder of the game was played by under classmen.

Two touchdowns on 14 carries for 79 yards plus a 35 yard reception by Haskins set the pace for the Indians. Not far behind was Wallace rushing 14 times for 60 yards.

Defensively linebacker #16 Nick Roach set the tone for the hard nosed Indian “D” with six tackles, #9 Mathew Wallace added five stops, #3 Wade Plemons and #23 Jake Brown posted four each. #55 Jordan Collis and #41 Andrew Russell both recovered fumbles.

Total offense was 303 yards. Rushing accounted for 208 yards on 47 attempts, passing added 35 yards, and special teams contributed 60 yards on two kick-off returns.

In a tough physical game the Indians (6-1) are on track to earn a play-off berth, winning 20-8. Go Indians!
