During the coin toss was as close as the Bears would come to the defending Conference Champions. Captains were #34 David Lee Haskins, #82 Aaron Anderson, and #98 Jeffery Nichols. Your Loudon Indians won the coin toss and wanted the football. Scoring on the second play from scrimmage it was all over. #37 Nick Brown worked his magic, strolling in un-touched from 57 yards out. The Indians no huddle offense and stifling defense were too much for the larger slower Bears. In fact the Tellico head coach took great exception to Coach Matlock throwing the football late in the third quarter (the game ended in three quarters due to the mercy rule). I don’t think I’ve ever seen a man that mad (although I’ve ever seen several women madder). Now for next week…the Vonore Blue Devils travel to “The Hill”. In last seasons only blemish, the Devils beat your Loudon Indians 6-0. This game has been circled on the players and coaches calendars for over a year now. Go Indians!
