The Crickets put their defense on the field first, but couldn't stop the Etowah ground game. The Knights were up six to zip after one period. The Crickets answered with two scores to lead 12 to six at the half. In the second half, Etowah pulled ahead with a TD and a 2-pt. conversion. That would be all of the scoring on the day. Shandon Lyle #2, was the man, he provided the offensive punch and was solid on "D". The Crickets had 189 yards of total offense, in a loosing effort, 14 to 12.
