Bruce Lawson (left), the iconic Loudon Redskin, passed away Tuesday March 3, 2009 at his home in Loudon. He was 55 and there will never be another Bruce Lawson - no one will be able to replace what he meant to Loudon High School Athletics! Bruce was the official statistician of Redskin football for 38 years and 40 years of baseball and basketball.

reetings! Welcome to the official football site for the city of Loudon located in Loudon County, TN. Our community has an extensive football foundation which consists of two organizations and five teams: The Loudon High Redskins and the Loudon Quarterback Club - Crickets, Hoppers, Mustangs, and Indians.

Collected on this website is coverage of all five teams. Although I try to be as prompt as possible, I will not be able to get materials posted instantaneously. There will be, in most cases, several days of delay due to work, kids, etc. So, please bear with me: I'll get stuff up as quickly as possible.

Listen to Redskin Sports live on WLNT 96.1 FM and play back of the Redskins game after the game is over each Friday night.

The 2010 season of Redskin football will be broadcast by the following crew: Mike Thompson, Scott Mackintosh and special guests. WLNT's live call in talk show "The WLNT Sports Roundtable" is hosted by Kent Everett and our panel of experts every Thursday Night beginning at 7pm. Again this year, all games will be broadcast LIVE starting at approximately 7:15pm. WLNT will rebroadcast games every Friday night beginning at around 11 pm (it may be slightly later for extreme away games). We'll have a second rebroadcast on Sunday night at 8pm. You can hear a rebroadcast on the web at www.REDSKINRADIO.com beginning 11pm Friday Night and continuing until 11:59pm Sunday Night. Complete details can be found at www.WLNTFM.com or www.REDSKINRADIO.com. You can contact WLNT at WLNT@bellsouth.net
