The Crickets were 6-4, with a 1st round playoff loss, last season. The jamboree didn’t give the fans a glimmer of things to come this season. However, with a 30-6 pounding of the Vonore Blue Devil Crickets, our Cricket team is way ahead of last years offering. #3 Jordan Davis scored on runs of 22 and 6 yards as the Crickets led 14 to 6 at the half. In the second half, #24 Brandon Burnette posted a score from 50 yards out and added (2) 2-pt. conversions on the day. Shandon Lyle #2, added an 11 yard TD and a 2-pt. conversion. The Crickets had 272 yards of total offense. On defense the Crickets held the Blue Devils to 6 points.
