The Crickets are just plain fun to watch. All the players, parents, grandparents, and fans are enjoying this team. Although there are about 50 players on this team, Head coach Scott Newman and his assistants are working real hard to get playing time for everyone. “Double J” Joshua “Action” Jackson was at it again, this time scoring four (4) touchdowns against the Greenback Chirpers. Also wanting in on the action was #8 Jack “The Iron Man” Nichols II who posted a long touchdown run of 55 yards. Defensively the Crickets were led by #6 Macklin “The Mac Attack” Russell, #41 Ryan Taylor, and #26 Jacob Crabtree. The Crickets scored five touchdowns and two 2-pt. conversions while holding off a late 3rd quarter rally by G’back.
