The second period proved more fruitful as #36 Jake “The Snake” Mourfield lit up the scoreboard with touchdown runs of 53 and 28 yards respectively.

In the second half, QB Justin Franklin hit #39 Ryan McNabb for a 39 yard pass completion on the first play of the fourth stanza. This gain would set up Mourfield’s third dinger of the game, a 15 yarder. With 0:59 seconds left in the game, #24 Brandon Burnette got loose for a 15 yard touchdown streak. After both of these second half scores, #83 Tyler “The Foot" Walters attempted extra point kicks. One of the kicks was short, and the other one was blocked (Tyler has already made two kicks this season).
Top defenders were #20 Brandon “Road Runner” Tallent with seven stops, #39 Ryan McNabb added five knockdowns and a fumble recovery.
Total offense consisted of 27 rushes for 239 yards, five touchdowns, and one 2-point conversion; plus one pass completion for 39 yards, for a total of 278 yards.
The Loudon Hoppers have already secured a playoff berth.
