The Indians won the toss and wanted the ball. The kick off was fielded by #30 Tyler Barr, he advanced the ball for 20 yards. First and ten, Indians. It seemed the Loudon “War Party” was in complete control of the ball game, or did it? For three quarters the Indian offense and defense controlled the game tempo. The offensive unit put together long ball control drives that ate up the clock and scored touchdowns. Coupled with stifling defense that kept the ‘Kees at bay and the end zone sealed. However, the Indians kind of zoned out in the fourth stanza, letting G’back dictate the game. The Cherokees scored on a 50 yard pitch and catch, forced a Loudon punt, and then drove down and scored. Next week will require four quarters of solid play as the 3-0 Etowah Pile Drivers come a calling. The Indians rushed for 36 carries for 163 yards, three touchdowns, and two 2-pt. conversions; and passed for 17 yards.
