The Sequoyah Conference football jamboree was held this past Saturday (8-14-04) at the Sequoyah High School football stadium. The Loudon Quarterback Club played the Polk Co. Wildcats. The Crickets, Hoppers, Mustangs, and Indians each got one 15 minute quarter with the clock being stopped sparingly. Our time block began 3:00 pm; it was a beautiful day for football.

As the Conference Champions last season, expectations are high in the Mustangs camp! New Head Coach Buddy Bradshaw has a great nucleus to repeat as League Champions. #66 Mathew Kiser recovered a fumble, #22 Nick Brown stroked a 33 yd TD and added the conversion points himself. Stifling “D” stopped the ‘Cats, and #30 Trey Townson added a 36 yd TD explosion. The Mustangs won 14-0.
