Russell Mayes: And welcome back to the WLIL Saturday Morning High School Football Report; and, at this time, we're joined - at his home in Loudon, Tennessee - by the head coach of the Loudon Redskins, Coach Jeff Harig. And Coach Harig, good morning.
Jeff Harig: Good morning.
Mayes: Well, certainly on everyone's mind was The Battle of the Bridge last Thursday night; and, obviously, [it was] kind of an odd circumstance to have to play this football game on Thursday night.
Harig: It was. We decided it was best from a security standpoint to move the game to Thursday, and it really worked out. We had a great crowd there, and the fans were into the game, and it was just a great atmosphere for high school football.
Mayes: Well, it certainly was; and that's certainly what everyone says this football game is all about. Somebody told me yesterday that they were at the ballgame - some of the folks who that came and helped us at the broadcast said it was some of the most exciting atmosphere for high school football that you can have; and I know that's what you want for this football game.
Harig: No question. Its about the rivaly, and the two schools don't care two much for each other; and the students came out. That was what was big I thought was the number of students who came out and supported us, who painted themselves up and just got into the game. It was just a great atmosphere and it was great to come out on top.
Mayes: Well, talk a little bit about your preparation for this ball game. Obviously, coming off the big win against Gibbs, still a lot going...
Note: Due to certain circumstances that I won't bore you with, only about a minute and a half of this week's interview is available. Sorry.
